Bhutan National Day

This day symbolizes unity, national identity and the historic transition into a modern nation under the Wangchuck dynasty. Across Bhutan, the day is a public holiday, and celebrations are held in stadiums, dzongs and community grounds, with the biggest official ceremony usually in Thimphu.
